Luke’s story
What Luke loves most is the connection: a whole dance floor sharing the same joy.
Every set Luke plays is built around the crowd in front of him. Based in Cape Town, he has played across genres since 2019, and his love of music began at home, where he picked it up from both his parents. His events include celebrations on the wine estates of Klein Constantia and Boschendal.
His approach is adaptable. He shapes each set to the guests in the room, whether the evening calls for a lively dance floor or an elegant celebration, so the music suits the people who are actually there.
For Luke, DJing comes down to connection. He plays the songs people love and watches a room light up; bringing a crowd together like that is what drives him at every event he takes on.
