Privacy Policy — The DJ Company
Effective Date: 9.26.2025

Welcome to The DJ Company (“we,” “us,” “our”). We value your privacy and aim to be transparent about how we collect, use, and share your information — whether you’re interacting with our site, booking our DJ services, or engaging with our culture coin ($DJ). By using our website, services, or token-related features, you agree to this policy.

1. WHAT IFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Payment information (e.g. card number, via secure processor)
  • Details about the services you request

1.3 Token / Web3 Interaction Data (if applicable)

If you engage with our culture coin ($DJ):

  • Wallet address (public on chain)
  • Transaction records related to buys, sells, rewards
  • Metadata from blockchain APIs

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use collected data for purposes such as:

  • To fulfill bookings / orders — process payments, send confirmations, invoices
  • To communicate with you — customer support, updates, notifications
  • To screen for fraud / risk
  • To analyze & improve our site, services, marketing
  • For token / rewards operations — if you interact with $DJ, to credit rewards or support token features
  • For advertising / promotional purposes — based on preferences or behavior

3. SHARING & THIRD PARTIES

We may share your information with:

  • Service providers & partners (e.g. payment processors, analytics platforms, marketing services)
  • Ad networks to display tailored ads
  • Law enforcement or regulators, if required by law (e.g. court orders, subpoenas)

We do not sell your personal data as a business model.

4. COOKIES, TRACKERS & ADVERTISING

  • We use cookies, pixels, tags, log files, analytics tools to track site usage and optimize experience.
  • You may disable cookies in your browser settings (though parts of the site may stop working).
  • For targeted ads, you can opt out via platforms like Google, Facebook, or via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out portal.

5. YOUR RIGHTS & CHOICES

Depending on your jurisdiction:

  • You may access, correct, update, or delete personal information we hold about you
  • You can ask us to stop certain uses (e.g. marketing communications)
  • If you’re in the EU (or protected region), you may have the “right to be forgotten,” data portability, etc.
  • Note: we may need to retain certain data for legal, accounting, or business purposes

To exercise your rights, contact us (see section 9).

6. DATA RETENTION

  • We keep order / booking data as long as necessary for business, legal, or tax reasons, unless you request deletion (where applicable).
  • For device/analytics data, we may keep aggregate or anonymized logs indefinitely for trend analysis.

7. SECURITY & SAFETY

  • We use standard security practices (encryption, secure access) to protect your data
  • While we strive to protect your information, no system is perfect — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • If a breach happens, we will notify you as required by law.

8. TOKEN / CULTURE COIN ($DJ) SPECIFIC TERMS

Because we're integrating a culture coin feature ($DJ), additional considerations apply:

  • Any blockchain / wallet addresses and transactions are public ledger information and not treated as “private”
  • We may use transaction data to compute rewards, burns, buyback logic, etc.
  • We do not guarantee privacy beyond what is inherent in blockchain systems
  • By participating with $DJ, you consent to such usage of on-chain data
  • We may integrate with third‑party Web3 services; your on‑chain info may be subject to their policies

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy whenever needed (e.g. new features, laws). We’ll post a revised version with a new “Effective Date.” Your continued use after changes means you accept them.
