Every Cape Town wedding DJ package from The DJ Company gives you a vetted DJ from your ceremony to midnight, separate sound for the ceremony and canapés, and one reception and dance floor setup from speeches to the last song, lit with moving heads and a laser. The Deluxe Package comes with 15-inch speakers and subwoofers, a backlit DJ facade and one free extra. The Luxury Package plays your ceremony and canapés in stereo and brings a white booth under a lighting bridge, uplighters, UV bars, a production assistant and two free extras. The Forever Package steps up to d&b audiotechnik sound and a black laser-cut booth, with a production technician, a build crew and three free extras. A free extra adds more of what your package has, or something it doesn’t.

Yes, you choose the songs for your Cape Town wedding and add a Don’t Play list of songs and genres to leave out, all on our Wedding Music Request Form. The form also covers the background music for your ceremony, canapés and reception, and the songs for moments like your processional, signing the register, cutting the cake and your first dance. Add as many dance floor requests as you like, and your DJ arrives knowing your must-plays and your never-plays.

A deposit and a contract secure your wedding date with The DJ Company in Cape Town. Check Availability is the first step: tell us your date and venue, and we’ll help you choose the right package before anything is confirmed. We usually reply within minutes during office hours, and within 24 hours at the latest. Some couples come to us a few months before their wedding and others a year or more ahead, so it’s worth asking as soon as your date is set.

Yes. The DJ Company plays weddings up to 600 km from Cape Town, across the Cape Winelands, the Overberg, the West Coast and the Garden Route, from Stellenbosch and Hermanus to Langebaan and Plettenberg Bay.
